A nature trail featuring beautiful scenery, woodlands and street art. Ideal for getting away from the hustle and bustle and enjoying nature near the River Miño.

The Lamas de Prado route is an ideal nature walk for residents of many of the city’s traditional neighbourhoods, such as Camino Real and the surrounding area, Casas Baratas, A Milagrosa, As Sindicais, O Castiñeiro and Abella. In no time at all, you can leave the urban hustle and bustle of these areas behind and immerse yourself in unspoilt, beautiful natural surroundings. ROUTE We set off from Porta Nova, one of the five oldest gates in the Roman wall, and walk along the old Camino Real to Lamas de Prado Street. Simply by walking along this famous street in Lugo, we’ll eventually reach one of the city’s most rural and beautiful streets: Filgueiro Street. If we continue towards the River Miño, we’ll set off on a beautiful route through forests, oak groves and riverside woodlands, where we can also enjoy Lugo’s street art. The return to Lamas de Prado follows a lovely path linking the Estrada de Ombreiro with the Carretera Nacional VI.
