This modern cultural space is situated in a green area and stands out for its original design, featuring large metal cylinders. It’s a unique place to discover the history of Lugo in a visual and entertaining way.
Inside, the exhibition combines videos, models and interactive panels that explain how the city has evolved from Roman times to the present day. Everything is designed to make the visit enjoyable and easy to follow.
The museum devotes a special section to Lugo’s Roman past, featuring archaeological finds of great historical value. Among these are remains linked to the founding of the ancient Lucus Augusti and objects that show what life was like in the city almost two thousand years ago.
