Housed in the former convent of San Francisco, this museum preserves such unique historical spaces as the cloister, the old kitchen and the monks’ refectory, which all add to the charm of a visit.
Its collections span different periods of history through archaeological finds, works of art and objects of great heritage value. Highlights of the collection include Roman remains, collections of religious art, traditional gold and silverwork, and a significant selection of Galician paintings.
